2018 Jim Smith Custom 48’ Walkaround Tournament Sportfish – D&D

For over 6 decades Jim Smith boats have been known for their quality, performance and craftmanship and the 48' Walkaround “D&D” is no exception. Designed for easy operation, safety, and 360-degree fishing with flush-mounted rod holders along starboard and port sides from bow to transom—19 each side and live wells conveniently located in bow, transom, and in cockpit sole. But that’s not all; rocket launcher rod holders are on aft edge of hardtop, on port and starboard tower ladders, and the pedestal mounted Blue Water stand in cockpit. The custom gap tower by Bausch Towers features a non-glare black steering helm station. “D&D” was custom built for a very knowledgeable owner and captain and is loaded with the fishing features of a large sportfish yacht, including mezzanine seating, outriggers and center rigger. She features a nicely appointed interior with additional custom rod storage, private aft queen berth and head with separate stall shower, galley, and forward dinette. This 48 Walkaround features a full isinglass-type enclosure of helm deck under hardtop and air conditioned helm. “D&D” is turn-key for serious offshore fishing and sunset cruising with family. She is powered with brand-new stern platform mounted quadruple Mercury 450R engines.
