Turkish refit specialist shipyard FDC Yachts in Bodrum have partnered with Red Yacht Design to create a new line of yachts, starting with the 26m Aluna 87, the first in a series that champions multi-functional design and a flexible layout.

The Aluna 87 has class leading toy-carrying capacities which allow her to function as either a standalone superyacht or as a support vessel, depending on the owner’s wishes.

Designed as a crossover yacht, her exterior deck space offers flexibility, practicality and multi functionality. With an enormous 110m2 of open deck space, she offers incredible exterior seating options, with dining available for up to 10 people, as well as the ability to carry a 12m & 5m tenders and two jet-skis. With her 5 ton crane concealed below deck, the unobstructed space can be enjoyed as an entertainment area when free of tenders and toys, with loose furniture stored in the lazarette. If required, the Aluna 87 is capable of accommodating touch and go helicopter landings, demonstrating that she is a genuine “Swiss army knife” of a yacht.

The contemporary themed interior includes a full-beam, loft-like main saloon, which hosts dining for up to eight guests, almost full-height windows and a head height of 2.3m - exceptional for this size of yacht -  offering a light and airy feel and close connection to the sea outside.

Accommodation is for up to 8 guests, with a full-beam owner’s suite that can be converted into separate cabins thanks to sliding partition walls. There are two additional guest cabins, one with an ensuite that can function as a day head, again revealing the versatility of this model.

The Aluna 87 has a beam of 7.45 m and a shallow draft of 1.85 m, ideal for Caribbean cruising and coastal grounds. Built with steel hull and aluminum superstructure, her twin Caterpillar engines provide a top speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots. Total of four crew.
