Killbox, built as the Grandslam, is a 50 foot sportfish that took the East Coast tournament world for a spin. The builder, Irving Forbes of North Carolina, built the vessel with his eyes on domination. Forbes teamed up with the designer Steve Matthews to compose an unmistakeable swept sheer line and curvaceous house. The profile proportions are a smooth cocktail of class and seduction. She maybe pretty, but also a tournament weapon.

The main focus was simplicity - the name of the game when you want to fish countless days of the year. The large engine room mirrors same concept of size as the cockpit and bridge. All exposed elements are easy to clean with faired and painted surfaces. Killbox includes a Seakeeper, Garmin Electronics, and 20 horsepower hydraulic bow thruster. She will easily sleep four, with two oversized bunks and a forward stateroom. The salon houses a center island as a centerpiece and two large couches port and starboard, a perfect place for a morning briefing, or to get out of the sun.

From fishing, to fun the Killbox does it all. Want to become a tournament contender? The Killbox is a proven contender winning the Custom Shootout, 2022 Key West Marlin Tournament and the Pelican two years in a row! Not to mention many other spots on the leaderboard. In all, the she is one of the most economical, fish catching, sportfish boats on the water.
