Description

La Residenza - Corte dei Messapi: Minimum price a week 6.160,00 , maximum price a week 21.380,00. A truly magnificent villa, with electric gates and drive, that takes you through a walled garden, where you will see this beautiful structure, with its sweeping drive, and walled entrance, up to the main structure, which has two pools, one on the roof, and one below the villa, overlooking the play area. La Corte dei Messapi, is a wonderful villa, which consists of a main villa, sleeping 14, a Trullo sleeping 2, and two villas sleeping 6 and 2 respectively. These two villas share a pool, but guests who rent the whole property (sleeping 24) in total, will have the use of all the villas, with two pools, and a small pool on the roof of the main residence. MAIN VILLA The entrance is large, with two sofaâs in which to relax. A bar area, where you can make coffee, or take a drink (all drinks will be charged to your account during your stay). Ice making facility (great for the kids). The large villa sleeps fourteen, there is also a trullo which sleeps two, and therefore, in total sleeps sixteen. From the reception/lounge area, where there is a large wall mounted Samsung TV where the children can play on the play station, and relax or they can choose to play in the park area, where there are swings, table tennis, slide and climbing frame, all positioned on a lawned garden. Also, there is the pool which is 4m â 11 m and has a depth of 30cm at the shallow end, and a maximum depth of 1.5m. From this seating area, there are 3 king sized bedrooms, all with en-suite, shower toilet, hand held shower and over head shower, with stone sink, towel rail, bathrobes and slippers. All three bedrooms, have patio doors to a small courtyard, two bedrooms, have patio doors, which open up into the same courtyard. Also from one of the bedrooms, you can access through patio doors to the fourth bedroom, which is the largest bedroom, with large en-suite shower room, with bidet, toilet, handmade stone sink. Whilst the bedrooms can be accessed from inside the Villa, through the third bedroom. There is also a separate entrance accessed from the outside with steps down to the Patio door entrance of the 4th bedroom. All bedrooms are designed with handmade pictures of various designs, made in Olive wood, and are all rustic, made from the land and natural resources. On this floor there is a separate toilet, and hand basin. A flight of steps takes you up to the second floor, where you will find a large lounge and dining area, with open plan kitchen. The kitchen has a large American style fridge freezer, two electric ovens and a five ringed gas hob. There is a large square stone sink, and windows overlooking the gardens, and views of the trullo. There is also an integrated dishwasher. The dining table is hand made, as is all the furniture throughout the villa and trullo. The kitchen, is also handmade in natural wood. The lounge has an open plan fireplace, and 50â TV. This lounge on the second floor opens up on two sides to the balcony area, and also a covered pergola, where you will find a table seating Sixteen which is built under a rustic hand made canopy, which offers much shade during the hot summer months. Here you will also find a gas BBQ, which is great for outdoor grills. From the lounge, there are two steps up to the bedrooms. There is a small toilet, which is more for the service staff. This floor provides three king sized bedrooms, along an arched corridor, with arched glass windows to the left. There is also a glass door, which leads to the herb garden, where you will find basil, thyme, sage, and many more homegrown herbs, ideal for use by the designated cook, or if you prefer to be totally spoilt we can arrange for a local chef to prepare typical Pugliese cuisine. The bedrooms all exquisitely designed, with the same natural feel, of the rest of the Villa. All bedrooms on this floor have en-suite facilities, with shower, with hand held and overhead chrome showerhead. Toilet and stone sink. The toilets throughout the upper level all have hand held showers, instead of bidets. All three bedrooms, open up onto a veranda, with outside seating, and views across the pool, and childrenâs play area. TRULLO Whilst the trullo is separate from the main Villa, this gives a certain degree of privacy, and ideal for a young couple holidaying with the family. The trullo has a small kitchen area built into one of the alcoves, with an electric hob, coffee machine and freestanding fridge. A seating area, cleverly designed and table and two chairs â again hand made. There is a double bedroom, and en-suite facility, very private. Every nook and cranny has been tastefully designed to maximise the use of space. The trullo is deceptively spacious inside, with 4 areas, split between the lounge/kitchen, bedroom, hall, and finally the bathroom. Spacious and cool, due to the thickness of the original stonewalls, which keep the trullo cool in summer and warm in winter. From the trullo the main villa is about 75m away across the gravel drive, where you can relax around the large swimming pool, or drink cocktails on the large terrace whilst soaking up the Puglian sunshine.
