DescriptionDobrava Castle is located on a land area of 55,000 m2 (possibility of buying the surrounding land approx. 100,000 m2), where there are sources of thermal water. The internal area of the castle is about 1500m2.
- It consists of a ground floor, a first floor and an attic and a wine cellar.
LOCATION: It is located not far from Pregrada in Krapina-Zagorje County, on an elevated position, on the east side of the road leading to Krapinske Toplice. It is separated from the road by a large undeveloped grass slope with an access road. It is 45 km from Zagreb. It is 23 km from Macelj on the Croatian-Slovenian border. It is 8 km away from the famous Krapin spa. It is located near the highway Zagreb - Maribor - Graz.
The interior of the castle has retained the style of the time it dates from, wall frescoes, heating stoves, illustrated ceilings,...
The cultural heritage of feudalism in this area signifies the harmony of the architecture of many "burgs" and castles with the idyllic nature. If the inscription in the castle is to be believed, it was built in 1321. Of the former four-winged castle, three wings with a cylindrical tower at the corner have been preserved, so the floor plan of the castle is U-shaped. The facades bear historicist features of the 19th century. The castle is protected as a cultural monument and is a cultural asset. In addition to its architectural value, it also has an ambient value that has preserved the traditional look of the castle from that era as a testimony to the way and culture of the Croatian nobility in these areas.
The urban spatial development plan of the city of Pregrada provided for a land area of 110 hectares under the castle, with the purpose of R1 (sports and recreational use) sport with construction, and zone R2 (sport without construction) of approximately 72 hectares, a total of more than 90 hectares, with the included zones Z1 and ZZ1 (green area protection). Currently, the land in question has meadows, a few trees and low vegetation, a stream, the configuration of the terrain is flat without hills, ideal for setting up an 18-hole golf course, because the area of 72 hectares allows and enables the construction of a golf course for official international competitions
