RECEPTIVE STRUCTURE. CIN CODE: IT073013B400059035 Close to Alberobello in a setting of olive trees and typical Apulian Mediterranean scrub, is Ecovilla Terra di Luce, built entirely with sustainable materials and equipped with the innovative CMV (controlled mechanical ventilation) system which ensures the recirculation of air in the villa while maintaining a constant temperature to ensure maximum comfort and well-being. The unmistakable colours of nature are contrasted by the clean lines and refined design of the interiors, where white tones dominate in contrast with the patches of colour of the furnishings, skilfully positioned to create a relaxing, and never boring, environment. The splendid heatable swimming pool is perfectly integrated into the park, surrounded by centuries-old olive trees, cherry trees and Mediterranean scrub typical of the Apulian landscape, and is easily accessible from the large French windows of the living room. Ecovilla Terra di Luce is located just 2 km from the typical Rione Monti, in the historic centre of Alberobello, a town unique in the world that contains all the history and culture of the trulli. Alberobello, listed by UNESCO as among the most beautiful borghi in Italy, can be visited by walking through the narrow streets of the centre and breathing in the magical, fairy-tale air that only a few places in the world can offer. The villa is located in an ideal position for exploring the most beautiful places in the Itria Valley: Locorotondo and Cisternino, characterised by narrow, winding streets and the white-painted houses typical of the architecture of the area; Martina Franca with its cobbled streets, elegant squares and well-preserved Baroque architecture which is well worth exploring. Just over half an hour's drive away are some of the most iconic places in Apulia: Polignano a Mare with its sheer cliffs and timeless atmosphere; Ostuni "the White City" and the long sandy coastline of Capitolo, south of Monopoli, with its well-equipped lidos and crystal-clear waters. NB: About 100 m from the villa is the part of the property inhabited by the discreet and courteous owners who will not interfere in the use of the park and the swimming pool which are for the exclusive use of the guests.

Alberobello, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996, is a unique destination characterised by the presence of the trulli, old traditional dwellings typical of the Itria Valley which stretches between the provinces of Bari, Taranto and Brindisi and includes, in addition to Alberobello, the towns of Locorotondo and Martina Franca. The trulli have a unique shape with a conical roof made of overlapping stones without the use of mortar, with walls made of local dry stone. The conical shape of the roof favours good natural ventilation, keeping the environment cool during the hot summer months. The trulli originated as rural dwellings or agricultural huts and their dry-stone construction made them suitable for rapid dismantling to avoid further taxation on new buildings. Rione Monti and Aia Piccola are the two main neighbourhoods known for their well-preserved trulli: losing oneself in the alleys of this area is a wonderful way to explore the town full of local craft shops. Alberobello can be reached by leaving the SS16 state road and driving through the typical countryside of the Itria Valley dotted with trulli, green fields and areas full of centuries-old olive trees, another important symbol of Apulia. Alberobello is a good starting point for exploring typical, but lesser-known, places such as Locorotondo (8 km) and Martina Franca (15 km) without neglecting the better-known and more touristy places such as Polignano a Mare (30 km), Monopoli (22 km) and Ostuni (36 km).
