On the eve of the Victoria’s Secret fashion show comeback, the man behind the brand’s most-ostentatious—and expensive—lingerie has listed his home in Dubai.
Jeweler Pascal Mouawad, who designed bejeweled multimillion-dollar “fantasy bras” for Victoria’s Secret, has listed his full-floor penthouse in Dubai’s 75-story Cayan Tower for AED 35 million (US$9.5 million).
The 11,141-square-foot unit on the 71st floor of the Dubai Marina tower comes with five bedrooms, four balconies and wraparound windows that offer sweeping city and water views, including the Palm Jumeirah. There’s also a home cinema, a maid’s room, a huge staff kitchen, and a (literal) hall of mirrors that leads to a nightclub-style lounge with a DJ booth, lighted bar and a bedazzled ceiling resembling a night sky.
In any other house, we’d imagine the stars were just for show—but in this one, it wouldn’t surprise if they’re actual jewels.
Mouawad is part of the Lebanese family that owns jewelry and watch designer Mouawad, a company founded in Beirut in the 19th century that is now based in London and Geneva.
Mouawad has designed many a diamond-encrusted “fantasy bra,” a staple of the Victoria’s Secret fashion show beginning in 1995. Mouawad designed his first piece of million-dollar lingerie in 2001 for model Heidi Klum, which included 1,200 pink sapphires and a 90-carat emerald-cut diamond at a cost of $12 million, according to Women’s Wear Daily.
Mouawad continued to partner with Victoria’s Secret for more than a decade. As the brand’s relevance began to decline, the show went on hiatus after the 2019 event was canceled amid public pressure. The show is returning Tuesday for the first time in six years, with a lineup of models that includes Tyra Banks and Gigi Hadid.
Mouawad has also worked with Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and Nicole Richie, among other celebrities, and continues to design beauty pageant crowns and other specialty items.
Mouawad’s glossy penthouse has been on the market internally in Dubai for a few months, but debuted on the international market Monday, when it was listed by Amanda Lynn L’Hommedieu of Nest Seekers International.
Its expansive white space, with contemporary curved ceilings and recessed lighting were designed to Mouawad’s taste. The jeweler purchased the unit for US$3.3 million in 2014 and invested another US$6 million in the design and buildout, using Zaha Hadid and Philippe Starck as inspirations, according to L’Hommedieu.
The space is also dotted with art collected by Mouawad, including a life-size equine statue that doubles as a lamp, a whale-shaped couch, a Fendi mirror, and a Chanel poster in one of the seven bathrooms, according to an interview with Destinations of the World.
The apartment also has three entrances, live-in staff quarters and the night club is raised to allow for two feet of insulation underneath, so sound doesn’t travel down through the floor, L’Hommedieu said.
“The location is amazing,” she said. “You can go downstairs, hop on a scooter and ride around the marina.” It’s 20 minutes to the Burj Khalifa-anchored downtown, 15 minutes to the Palm Jumeirah, and easily accessible to restaurants and shopping, she added.
Mouawad is currently based in Los Angeles. He previously owned a Bel-Air mansion, which he listed for $15.75 million in 2021 and sold for $12.2 million in 2024, according to property records. He could not immediately be reached for comment.
