Armed with a vast knowledge of Manhattan's most interesting neighborhoods, Gerald Magpily has spent his entire life getting to know them. With a special affinity for Harlem, Morningside Heights, West Village and SoHo, he is a stalwart proponent of everything the Big Apple has to offer. This native New Yorker is dedicated to finding his customers the apartment of their dreams and spares no effort in matching their desires with reality.

As an investor in the real estate industry, Gerald seamlessly made the transition to real estate agent. As part and parcel of his investor days, he had to be a clear communicator and instinctively know which questions to ask. Today he prides himself on pulling out all the stops to ensure that each and every customer benefits from those skills.

Gerald currently owns two investment condos in New Jersey. He is well-acquainted with what it takes to be a landlord since both units serve as rental income. He is a New York University graduate who holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics. An avid New York sports fan, Gerald spends his free time following the Mets, Knicks and Jets to victory.

TESTIMONIALS

"I had every confidence in Gerald handling the listing and sale of our family's Coop loft in SoHo. His measured approach and dedication to finding the right buyer was very key to a quick and profitable sale." - Lars Anderson

"I have had the privilege of working with Gerald Magpily of Nest Seekers. While there are plenty of real-estate agents out there who I am sure are good at what they do, I truly could not have asked for a better agent to work with and his superiors should know that he is a great asset to your company. Over the past year he has assisted me with a rental property in Manhattan and I will continue to use his services for this property. Over the past 6 months he has also been very patient and diligent working with me and my search to purchase a NYC condominium that is within my price range. Most important, along with his knowledge and guidance, he demonstrated great objectivity with my search while keeping his focus totally on my real-estate goals and not simply the end result of his desire to close on a property and pushing me to make a purchase. This is the man for your real estate needs!!!" - Robert Klipper

"Gerry is a very responsible, knowledgeable, and hands on broker. He helped us sell our property under a very tough market. He also played a major role following up with the Board, buyer’s attorney and broker, the bank, our lawyer - all critical parties to ensure a speedy deal closing. We were so grateful for his support. Because of his due diligence, we were able to close under 3 months from contract signing, which is the fastest in a building like ours. He gave great advice, while also not (being) pushy. He demonstrates a sense of integrity and trust so rare in the real estate world . We really enjoy working with Gerry and will continue to work with him." - Minyi Su

"We just bought our first apartment and were so lucky to have Gerald's expert guidance. We needed a good deal of hand holding, and he was there to help every step of the way. His calm and reassuring presence made even the most stressful parts of buying the hectic NYC housing market feel feasible. We would highly recommend working with Gerald!" - Meg Davis

"Moving to New York can be a challenge. Moving to New York from a distance can be more of a challenge. Moving to New York from a distance with an impossibly short deadline is daunting. Gerald made it happen. He could not have been more professional, more honest, and more accommodating. I would recommend him to anyone looking for an apartment in New York, and there's no question that I will go straight to him the next time I'm involved in any type of real estate transaction." - Anne Venzon

"Gerald at Nest Seekers went above and beyond what his job entails. He took on a pre foreclosure situation knowing the risks involved and managed to sell my place so that my entire mortgage was covered and all existing liens. I escaped the 2008 meltdown with no foreclosure on my credit thanks to his perseverance. He even helped stage and decorate the home to make it more sellable and offered to help me paint. I was more than satisfied with his performance executing a very difficult sale under time limits and would recommend him and Nest Seekers to anyone considering." - Chris Conway

"In a real estate world of sharks and vultures, Gerald's kind and gentle approach put us at ease, and we found his personable nature to be comforting during a very stressful process. We recommend Gerald to anyone who wants to seal the deal without the drama." - Eric Reed

"Not knowing the city well, and looking for a pet friendly place on a budget, having a broker was a must. Gerry was very kind and patient and only showed me apartments that met my criteria. He did not pressure me in any way, and went over everything step by step. The first day of looking, I didn't see anything that really fit. Gerry was texting me late at night with new listings. It meant a lot that he was putting in that extra time and effort. As a result I have a beautiful studio in a great location. Gerry will certainly be my broker the next time around." - V.R. Kinsey

"The following review is for Gerald Magpily: Gerry was a pleasure to work with. During a very stressful time of moving into the city for Medical School, Gerry helped immensely in soothing our stresses as he helped compile a list of properties catered to our specific needs. His patience with me and my, now, apartment-mates, was admirable. I highly recommend working with Gerry as he will (literally) do everything in his power to make sure you find not just a place to live, but somewhere you can call home!" - Kowshik Sen
