Ruth Yeskel is an award-winning, licensed Nest Seekers real estate broker, who has established her business footprint in Upper Manhattan, where she resides, as well as in Harlem, the Upper West Side and Wall Street.

During her 22 years in the real estate business, Ruth has proven herself to be a skilled negotiator and problem solver. She has received top peer-professional recognition, including the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) “Deal of the Year” award and has been known among her colleagues as “Ms. Complicated Deals” for her demonstrated ability to perform complex deals, selling commercial buildings, town houses and residential units, often with creative ideas about financing and even in the midst of the sometimes-delicate legal complications of Estate and Divorce sales.

She understands the value of creative pricing techniques and marketing strategies, and is able to interpret and apply marketplace data to pricing a property for the best and quickest sales results. “I know how to solve problems, and I work tirelessly and fight fiercely for my clients’ best interests,” she says.

Ruth’s business goals are, in her own words, “to meet or exceed my clients’ goals, even if it means sometimes surprising them with unexpected ideas.” As one buyer-and-seller client noted, “I was immediately impressed by her knowledge, energy and fantastic people skills. I cannot imagine anyone who could be more thorough and conscientious about their work.”

Born in Egypt, raised in Tel Aviv and a military service veteran of the Israeli Army (IDF), Ruth was an exceptional young athlete whose abilities and competitiveness resulted in her winning three Bronze Medals in the Maccabee Games and qualifying for the Israeli track and field team for the 1976 Munich Olympics.

Prior to transitioning into the real estate field, Ruth worked as a senior systems analyst and IT professional for major New York law firms and Wall Street financial organizations. Preparing academically for her systems work, she learned that, in both systems and business, every variable matters. She offers clients a disciplined work ethic, creative thinking and careful attention to both details and opportunities, all with a deep client-care mentality.

Ruth works uniquely, but equally well, with sellers, investors and buyers, and understands how their unique needs can differ. She can quickly explain the different characteristics of working on deals for co-ops (“emotional”), condominiums (“practical”) and with investors (“calculated”).

Her unique cross-cultural upbringing and conversational fluency in French and Hebrew further enable Ruth to connect with a diverse clientele, with understanding, empathy and success.

A true New Yorker who has lived in the city for 30 years, Ruth offers her clients an insider’s perspective on NYC real estate, what one client called “her unparalleled knowledge of New York City neighborhoods,” a razor-sharp analytical mind and smart decision-making abilities, along with caring, empathetic and insightful guidance.

Outside of her professional work, Ruth is active in outdoor sports, Yoga, swimming, “healthy cooking,” jazz and international travel.
