Have you always wanted your own floating island, but previous designs for your home for a dystopian water future have always come in around $100 million?
Things are about to change. An Austrian-based company has plans in the works for a “budget” floating island that would sell for about $4.6 million, according to a report from Rex Features.
Orsos Island would be about 120 feet long and provide about 3,300 square feet of living space, including six double rooms: enough room for 12 people and additional room for four staff members.
Interiors would be customizable, but renderings show a sun deck with palm trees, an area for lounging, outdoor grilling and hot tubbing.
