It is in a very strategic position from which the most famous villages of the Val d'Orcia such as Pienza, San Quirico, Montalcino, Montepulciano and the thermal villages surrounding Mount Amiata, San Casciano dei Bagni, Bagni San Filippo, Bagno Vignoni are easily reachable.

In an hour and a half it is also possible to reach Rome, Florence and their respective airports.
