Usually the phrases "Manhattan real estate agent" and "pleasant experience" do not belong in the same paragraph (unless separated by "was not"). Matt is a conspicuous exception. He was astonishingly responsive at all stages in the process. His understanding of market pricing trends (and specifically what impact we could expect from COVID) were spot on. He was super-attuned to what WE wanted, as opposed to what the properties featured. And we got through the search process to an accepted offer in record time. (9 days!) Highly, highly recommended.

It has been an absolute pleasure dealing with Matt and with his associate Kestas. They are knowledgeable about the advantages and disadvantages of every neighborhood in the city and are familiar with most of the buildings we look at or take the time to find out about them. They understood my needs and were tremendously helpful in putting together reasonable offers and financial packages to maximize beneficial interest rates and meet coop board requirements. Most of all they are delightful to deal with, never pushy, always encouraging and forthright. This post is to share with you all how wonderful Matt Bajek is, as a person and a broker! We first met Matt back in March when we got serious about looking for a new place to live. Our apartment had been on the market for a year and we finally had a interested buyer. The reality was settling in. We had specific requirements: we needed at least a 2 + bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and be in Hell’s Kitchen! Tall order, but Matt did his research and every week had something for us to look at. The first place he showed us was a 2+/2 bath. We saw a lot of apartments after that, but came full circle and are now happily settled in our new home. Matt always greeted us with a smile, shared in our frustrations, did a lot of leg work, and kept in contact with us throughout the process. He understands how stressful moving can be and was very good at being supportive to our needs. Matt has a terrific work ethic and we were so lucky that we got to work with him.
